Refund Policy
Last updated: 18 May 2026 · Effective date: 18 May 2026
1. Overview
This Refund Policy describes how refunds work for paid subscriptions to MyRA, operated by BQuant S.r.l. (Italy). It forms an integral part of our Terms of Service.
Subscription payments are processed by Paddle.com Inc. (or its affiliate), acting as Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller of record on your invoice; refunds, when granted, are issued by Paddle on our instruction back to the original payment instrument.
2. EU/UK consumer right of withdrawal (14 days)
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen (14) calendar days of the start of your subscription, without giving any reason (Art. 49 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code, implementing Directive 2011/83/EU).
To exercise this right within the 14-day window, send a clear written request to info@my-ra.com stating your account email and your wish to withdraw. We will instruct our payment processor to refund the full subscription fee within fourteen (14) days of receiving your request, using the same means of payment used for the original transaction (unless you expressly agree otherwise).
Important carve-out for digital services consumed during the withdrawal period. Under Italian law (Art. 59(1)(o) Codice del Consumo) and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of digital content not delivered on a tangible medium once you have given your express prior consent and acknowledgment that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. By starting to use a paid feature of MyRA within the 14-day window after subscribing, you expressly request immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal for the portion of the service already supplied.
3. Cancellation of recurring subscriptions
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel renewal at any time from your account page or by writing to info@my-ra.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you retain full access until that date, and you will not be charged for the next period.
We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial periods following cancellation, except where required by mandatory law (see Section 2 above and Section 4 below).
4. Discretionary refunds
Beyond the statutory rights described in Section 2, we may grant discretionary refunds on a case-by-case basis where, in our reasonable judgment, a refund is appropriate — for example: documented service unavailability, accidental duplicate charges, or genuine error in subscribing to the wrong plan reported within a reasonable time.
To request a discretionary refund, write to info@my-ra.com with your account email, the transaction date and amount, and a brief description of the circumstances. We aim to respond within five (5) business days.
5. Disputed charges and chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at info@my-ra.com — we will work in good faith to resolve the issue, typically faster than a chargeback procedure. Filing a chargeback without first attempting to contact us may result in suspension of your account pending resolution.
6. Refund timing
Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to your original payment instrument within five (5) to ten (10) business days of approval. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit to your statement.
